November news

twillflag02Dear Friend of the Twill
.
As we are approaching the end of this year, and Christmas will be looming ahead before we can say “Blessed Hollyberry!”, I want to update you on my progress.
.
Alas, contrary to my previous expectations, and despite the fact that it is coming on beautifully, the second book of the trilogy will not be published this year, due to unexpected engagements of diverse kinds. In truth, I have to apologise for this slight misinformation and using the word ‘trilogy’.
.
For, in fact, I have known, for some while, about the fourth book wanting to come out, in time. And, of late, whenever I get a free moment, it bombards me so ferociously, that I had to give it space on my desktop alongside its predecessors.
Another one of these diversifications, is working on The Elemental, the script of which predates the birth of the Twill.
.
Hand-written in the last days of March and first of April 2012, it rested while I embarked on the Twill journey. In July of the same year it was typed out in Celtx; and in August, accompanied by my sleep-deprived self (there was a street party, right outside the window, going on all night) it travelled to the capital and was registered with Raindance.
.
Now I’ve decided to make it into a novel, as well. So I’ve been doing an illustration and the covers, both  to be published on the website soon. (You can have a sneak peak at the unfinished products on Amrita  – Playing with Colour Facebook page.)
.
bookcover1500pxTalking about covers, many of you have remarked on the beauty of the first book’s cover, and if you visit the books page (or The Folk of the Twill Facebook page), you can see how it was done.
.
And now, the piece de resistance: Until next year, The Folk of the Twill is reduced in price to its bare minimum (as low as Lulu will allow – remember it’s self-published), and the e-book is free. So take a load off your Christmas shopping, for either of them will make perfect gifts for those who want to discover and be immersed in the magic and beauty of the Twill.
.
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! – can’t wait for more! ~ Sarah Neighbour.
.
Its language is so rich – it’s a feast – a Rich Golden Feast for Spirit! Really enjoying it! ❤ ~ R.Howard
Bright Blessings,
.
